Supporting your people with biblically rooted counseling

Hope Christian Counseling partners with pastors, elders, and church leaders to provide thoughtful, professional counseling for individuals, couples, and families.

Our goal is not to replace the ministry of the local church, but to come alongside it—offering specialized care that is grounded in a biblical worldview and informed by evidence-based counseling practices.

A trusted counseling resource for your church

Pastors often walk with people through complex marital, emotional, relational, and spiritual struggles. Some situations require more time, specialized training, and ongoing support than church leaders are able to provide alone.

Hope Christian Counseling offers churches a trusted referral option for members who may benefit from focused counseling while remaining connected to the care and community of their local church.

How we partner

How we partner with churches

Referrals

Pastors and church leaders may refer individuals, couples, or families directly to Hope Christian Counseling. Clients remain responsible for scheduling their own appointments and completing the intake process.

Financial Sponsorship

Churches may choose to cover all or part of a member's counseling costs through benevolence funds, pastoral care budgets, or designated counseling assistance. Sponsorship arrangements may include a set number of sessions, a percentage of each session, a fixed contribution per session, or a maximum approved amount. We can provide invoices and coordinate payment directly with an authorized church representative.

Collaborative Care

When a client gives written permission, we are glad to collaborate with pastors or church leaders regarding prayer support, general care coordination, or other appropriate aspects of the client's support system. Collaboration is always guided by the client's wishes and appropriate confidentiality boundaries.

Confidentiality comes first

Church sponsorship does not provide access to counseling records or session content.

Counseling remains confidential regardless of who pays for services. We will not share counseling details, records, diagnoses, or progress updates with a church unless the client has provided specific written authorization or disclosure is otherwise required by law.

This allows clients to receive financial and pastoral support without sacrificing the trust and privacy necessary for meaningful counseling.

Why churches partner with us

Why churches partner with Hope Christian Counseling

Biblically Rooted

Counseling is grounded in a Christian worldview and takes Scripture, spiritual formation, marriage, family, and the life of the church seriously.

Clinically Informed

Our work incorporates established counseling research and practical tools for communication, emotional regulation, trauma, attachment, and relational healing.

Supportive of the Local Church

We believe the church plays an essential role in spiritual growth, community, accountability, and long-term care. Our goal is to strengthen that relationship, not compete with it.

Personal and Unhurried

Longer session times allow space for meaningful conversation, careful exploration, and practical direction without feeling rushed.

Clear Communication

Churches receive straightforward information regarding sponsorship, billing, confidentiality, and collaboration expectations.
