About

Hi, I'm Kyle Hope.

I'm the founder of Hope Christian Counseling.

I'm a counselor, husband, and father who is deeply passionate about helping people experience healing, restoration, and hope. Marriage and family care are especially close to my heart, and much of my counseling work centers around helping couples reconnect, communicate more effectively, and rebuild trust with one another.

I've been married to my wife, Ashleigh, for 14 years, and together we have five children (three boys and two girls). Marriage, parenting, ministry, and life itself have taught me that growth rarely happens in a straight line. Like many of the people I counsel, I've experienced the beauty and joy of family life, but also the difficult seasons that inevitably come with it. Those experiences have given me not only professional insight, but personal empathy. I understand that life can feel overwhelming at times, and I want the people I serve to know they are not walking through those struggles alone.

For more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of serving in pastoral ministry as a worship leader, associate pastor, and lead pastor. Along the way, I've walked with individuals, couples, and families through some of life's deepest joys, greatest losses, and most difficult seasons.

Serving in pastoral ministry revealed where God had uniquely gifted and called me. While I loved every aspect of ministry, I found myself continually drawn to walking with people through their deepest struggles and helping them experience healing and hope. That calling led me to devote myself to the craft of counseling, eventually founding New Ground Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to discipleship, pastoral care, and biblical counseling. Today, my counseling work continues through Hope Christian Counseling.

Over the years, I've helped people navigate marital conflict, infidelity and betrayal, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, sexual addiction and identity concerns, attachment wounds, family conflict, and the lasting effects of spiritual and religious abuse. While every person's story is unique, my passion is helping people experience genuine healing, lasting transformation, and the hope that is found in Christ.

Outside of counseling and ministry, I enjoy reading, drinking good coffee, playing golf, making music, and going on adventures with my wife and kids.

What you can expect from me

A few commitments I make to every client.

Inviting someone into your story takes courage. Before we ever meet, I want you to know how I'll approach every conversation.

  • 01

    Grace before judgment

You'll never have to impress me or hide the parts of your story you're ashamed of. My goal is to create a place where honesty is welcomed and grace is abundant.

  • 02

    Truth with compassion

Real healing requires honesty. I'll challenge unhealthy patterns when necessary, but I'll always do so with gentleness, respect, and a genuine desire for your good.

  • 03

    Biblically grounded, practically applied

Christian counseling is more than quoting Bible verses. Together we'll apply the wisdom of Scripture to the real struggles you face, using practical tools that encourage lasting growth and meaningful change.

  • 04

    Clinically informed care

Alongside a biblical foundation, I utilize evidence-based relationship and counseling principles, including training in trauma, attachment, and the Gottman Method, so our work is both spiritually grounded and professionally informed.

  • 05

    An unhurried space

Life is busy enough. Counseling shouldn't feel rushed. Every session is designed to give you room to think, process, ask questions, and leave feeling more grounded than when you arrived.

  • 06

    Complete confidentiality

Your story is treated with care and respect. What you share remains confidential within the limits of the law and the ethical standards that guide my practice, allowing trust to become the foundation of our work together.
